Kismet Farm is a full-service hunter/jumper training and boarding facility dedicated to developing confident riders, successful partnerships, and a strong foundation in horsemanship. Our program is built on consistency, patience, and a supportive learning environment where riders are encouraged to work hard, set goals, and take pride in their progress.

We welcome riders of all ages and experience levels, from those stepping into the saddle for the first time to competitive riders on the local and rated circuits. Through individualized instruction and a focus on strong fundamentals, safety, and confidence, we help each rider grow within the sport and develop a lasting love for riding.

Our program offers lessons, training, boarding, leases, and competition opportunities. We regularly travel to local and rated horse shows throughout the season, allowing riders to gain valuable experience in the show ring, build confidence, and enjoy the excitement of competing as part of a team.

Our horses are the heart of our program, and their health and well-being are always our top priority. We take pride in providing quality care, thoughtful training, and a welcoming, team-oriented environment where riders and horses can thrive together.

At the heart of Kismet Farm’s program is our head trainer, Livi Bachman, whose lifelong dedication to the sport has shaped the foundation of our training philosophy today. Her time competing in the Children’s and Junior Hunter divisions gave her valuable experience and a strong understanding of what it takes to succeed both in and out of the show ring. Throughout her junior career, she earned consistent top placings and championships at rated competitions, developing the work ethic and horsemanship that continue to guide her program today.

As her riding career progressed, Livi had the opportunity to train and compete under the guidance of a professional program, where she gained exposure to high-level competition and the daily operations of a successful training barn. That experience helped shape her approach to teaching, training, and developing both horses and riders.

Since stepping into her role as head trainer, the program at Kismet Farm has continued to grow and evolve, welcoming new riders, developing talented horses, and creating successful partnerships both in and out of the show ring. Livi is committed to building a strong foundation for every rider, with an emphasis on confidence, consistency, and quality horsemanship. Her goal is to create an environment where riders feel supported, challenged, and proud of their progress.
